General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR)

This new legislation came into effect on the 25 May 2018. The regulations require all Parish Councils to ensure that they clearly show residents how their personal information will be used, and that they have appropriate procedures in place to ensure that personal data is not lost, mis-used, inappropriately shared or stored unnecessarily.
